We are going back to India Feb 18, and as I sent by email last week, on the return, we are going to return to Turkey and to the Seven Churches and Tarsus, Antioch and Haran…. So many sites to learn and grow in the Word!!!
Many have written that they are interested, but just now is the pricing available and we can have 10-19 people at these prices. If we go over 30 people, it drops in price $100.
These are aproximate prices, but are an attempt to get a low price where Melody and I pay the same low price you do….
Attached is an itinerary to meet Melody and I in Istanbul on March 13 and fly to SE Turkey to see Tarsus, Antioch and Harran–where Jacob lived 20 years with Laban and herded goats and got his wives!!
We would come back to Istanbul and proceed to drive to Troy–Trojan Horse–and on to Troas (where Eutychus fell from window as Paul preached, Assos, and on to Seven Churches!!
There is so much to see and learn!!
The total price of $2550 is from Chicago on Turkish Air–Which when combining International and Domestic Turkey flights are given a much cheaper flight price. You can arrange own flights, but Domestic flights lose the bargain package price… As you see, the $2550 is for double occupancy and a $390 addition is for single occupant.
The only additional is getting to Chicago, Los Angelos, or Washington for connecting to Turkish flights.

Beware of your Pediatrician & School Counselors, Americans!
Sounds crazy, right? But it’s not. Many pediatricians have become Progressive activists. How many of you are being groomed by these political agents? Let me describe the grooming process: when your child is about 8 or nine, the pediatrician starts introducing the idea that at some time in the near future, they will want to spend time alone with your child- to get them ready for the time when they first go to a doctor on their own, without their parents. Sounds cozy, huh? A pediatrician that cares so much about your kid that they want to help ease them into their first, adult solo physical checkup.
Then, at around 11 years old, the pediatrician will actually ask the parent to step out of the room ‘for a few minutes’. Then at around 12, the pediatrician will tell you that you must leave the room when the kid is 13 years old. MY pediatrician just blatantly LIED to me and told me that Washington State Law demands that I leave the room.
Now, Parents, I can tell you that I always told my pediatricians, “No. That will not happen with my daughter. I will be here to ensure that she is ok. “ They always were annoyed, but left it be. I have a new pediatrician who just told me that I MUST leave the room when my daughter turns 13- which will happen in August. I was enraged. I told her that this would never happen. The English language has some wonderfully anthropomorphic collective
nouns for the various groups of animals.
We are all familiar with a Herd of cows, a Flock of chickens, a School of
fish and a Gaggle of geese.
However, less widely known is a Pride of lions, a Murder of crows (as well
as their cousins the rooks and ravens), an Exaltation of doves and,
presumably because they look so wise, a Parliament of owls.
Now consider a group of Baboons. They are the loudest, most dangerous, most
obnoxious, most viciously aggressive and least intelligent of all primates.
And what is the proper collective noun for a group of baboons?
Appropriately called “Brick Walls”, it chronicles the journey of two young parents as they try to vie for a kidney transplant for their mentally handicapped young daughter, Amelia. Written by Amelia’s mother, the article is written with the perfect balance of vulnerability, strength, and passion for her daughter as she graciously allows us to enter into an incredibly private portion of their lives.
The gist of the story lies here: Amelia needs a kidney transplant to survive but is denied one because of her disability. In the article, her mother describes in detail the agonizing wait for the doctor, the words “Mentally Retarded” and “Brain Damage” in bright pink highlighter on Amelia’s medical papers, and, later, her own impassioned plea to Amelia’s doctor to rethink the death wish he had just stamped on her little girl.
All because Amelia learns differently than most people.
Coming from a standpoint where I am both blessed and pained to see personal accounts from inside the pro-life movement, I’m shocked and enraged by this story. I want to grab the doctor by the shoulders and shake sense into him. I want him and everyone else who thinks that persons with mental or physical handicaps are somehow a lesser degree of a person to wake up and realize how jaded they are.

Frederick the Great of Prussia called these ten days “the most brilliant in the world’s history.” After winning the Battle of Trenton, Christmas night, George Washington’s small force met General Cornwallis‘ 8,000 man British army. The night before the battle, Washington left his campfires burning and silently marched his soldiers around the back of the British camp at Princeton, New Jersey. At daybreak, JANUARY 3, 1777, Washington attacked, capturing three regiments of British troops. Enthusiasm swept America. Yale President Ezra Stiles stated in an Election Address before the Governor and General Assembly of Connecticut: “In our lowest and most dangerous state, in 1776 and 1777, we sustained ourselves against the British Army of 60,000 troops, commanded by…the ablest generals Britain could procure throughout Europe, with a naval force of 22,000 seamen in above 80 men-of-war. Who but a Washington, inspired by Heaven, could have conceived the surprise move upon the enemy at Princeton-or that Christmas eve when Washington and his army crossed the Delaware?” Ezra Stiles concluded: “The United States are under peculiar obligations to become a holy people unto the Lord our God.”
The first six months of the Revolutionary War saw the Continental Army chased from New York, New Jersey and into Pennsylvania. Ranks dwindled from 20,000 to 2,000 exhausted soldiers – most leaving at year’s end when their six-month enlistment was up. Expecting British invasion, the Continental Congress fled Philadelphia and sent the word “until Congress shall otherwise order, General Washington be possessed of full power to order and direct all things.” In an operation with the password “Victory or Death,” Washington’s troops crossed the ice-filled Delaware River at midnight Christmas Day. Trudging in a blinding blizzard, with one soldier freezing to death, they attacked the feared Hessian troops in Trenton, New Jersey, at daybreak DECEMBER 26, 1776, capturing nearly a thousand soldiers in just over an hour. A week after Congress approved the First Amendment, President George Washington issued the first National Thanksgiving Proclamation, 1789: “Whereas both Houses of Congress have by their joint Committee requested me ‘to recommend to the People of the United States a day of public thanksgiving and prayer to be observed by acknowledging with grateful hearts the many signal favors of Almighty God, especially by affording them an opportunity peaceably to establish a form of government for their safety and happiness;’” Washington continued: “Now, therefore, I do recommend…Thursday, the 26TH DAY of NOVEMBER…to be devoted by the People of these United States to the service of that great and glorious Being, who is the beneficent Author of all the good that was, that is, or that will be;” Washington concluded: “That we may then all unite in rendering unto Him our sincere and humble thanks…for the peaceable and rational manner in which we have been enabled to establish constitutions of government… particularly the national one now lately instituted, for the civil and religious liberty with which we are blessed…to promote the knowledge and practice of true religion and virtue.”

On NOVEMBER 9, 1954, President Eisenhower addressed the National Conference on the Spiritual Foundation of American Democracy at the Sheraton-Carlton Hotel, Washington D.C.: “Now Dr. Lowry said something about my having certain convictions as to a God in Heaven and an Almighty power. Well, I don’t think anyone needs a great deal of credit for believing in what seems to me to be obvious…This relationship between a spiritual faith…and our form of government is…so obvious that we should really not need to identify a man as unusual because he recognizes it.” Eisenhower continued “Our whole theory of government finally expressed in our Declaration…said…Man is endowed by his Creator…When you come back to it, there is just one thing…that a man is worthwhile because he was born in the image of his God…Democracy is nothing in the world but a spiritual conviction…that each of us is enormously valuable, because of a certain standing before our own God.” Eisenhower concluded: “Any group that…awakens all of us to these simple things…is, in my mind, a dedicated, patriotic group that can well take the Bible in one hand and the flag in the other, and march ahead.”
On NOVEMBER 1, 1800, John Adams became the first U.S. President to move into the White House. The following day he wrote a letter to his wife, Abigail, in which he composed a beautiful prayer. A portion of that prayer was inscribed on the mantlepiece in the State Dining Room by President Franklin D. Roosevelt. Senator Maria Cantewll (D-WA) is asking the EPA to kill a large mining project because there is a slight possibility that it could affect salmon in her state. Sen.
