Thank you for holding those in the villages in prayer!!
When I see our coworker of 17 years, GovindaReddy, on a walker and sticks, I am so blessed!! At age 54, 2 years ago, he had scooter accident and crushed his hip and leg, but is back up on sticks and going to the villages! He has urgency in his heart!
Like Veeralapuram Village on 10th–many had come to Christ, no church or pastor there, but Govinda had led many to Christ and they pulled the gods… After a year of Govinda not able to travel and no church, these drifted back to demon gods… By God’s grace, churches must be planted and people taught and strengthened!! Your prayers are so needed!!!
As you read thru this report made by a man , walking on sticks with a strong commitment in his heart, PLEASE stand beside him and the many others who are reaching out to touch lives for Christ!!
At the same time, find someone toreach out to yourself and show the love of Christ!

Your prayers are being answered in the villages!! Much more prayers needed!!
Below is a list of church plaques, we just got list today, to go on churches that we gave for in Feb-March.
We gave 59 Prayer Sheds and churches. We took offerings you gave and in some cases added to them with money that was given as a matching contribution of $25,000.
So many villages churches are being planted and growing! It is joy especially as we are teaching those in India to tithe and give and we join beside them to build and drill…
Thank you all so so much! These are just some of the 59 churches given. Please, now pray that churches be complete and we go in Oct to dedicate!
Prayer works and we count on your prayers!
Thank you all so so much for encouraging and standing beside us with investment! It is such a joy to work together and touch lives for Christ!! Urgency!!

I am so thankful for the many hearts that are coming to Christ in the villages of India. Thank you all for praying and standing with us to strengthen the men and women’s hands that daily reach out to lives, by travelling rough roads and daily looking for hearts to share Christ’s love with those who have not heard.Below is a daily report from Govinda Reddy and Isaiah, sharing some of their daily journey for Christ. Several of these days we were walking beside them to plant churches, and lead people to Christ!! These are some of the 59 villages we gave new churches in Feb-March this year…That we would all have an urgency and share Christ with someone every day…
Thank you all each for praying…literally, God moves only when we pray…
With love, thanks and prayers,
Kerry and Melody

We sat on front porch that is painted nice and 35 people pack the
porch of this, the only church in this village of 300 families. 15
families now follow Christ with the first coming 12 years ago. Prabu
Das pastors, but his sister was the first believer…
12 years ago, she was in hospital and Rehelamma, a lady pastor from
Ellareddygudem, met her in the hospital and led her to Christ. I
remember so clearly Rehelamma…3 years ago we helped her build a nice
church and when we dedicated, it was packed with people and so
beautiful. We set in the church and nice cloth covered back
wall…however, we found there was no back wall. She did not have
enough money for wall. But she responded, “No problem, the church is
already full so we will just extend 25 more feet, then put a wall on.”
I love that spirit!! Her husband Moses, had passed away, but she had
a CAN DO spirit. Then 2 years ago, Rehelamma went to be with the
Lord.
But she led 1 woman to the Lord and now the church is with 35 faces
and tears flowing and arms raised in prayer to the Lord. Even the
small 3 yr old children on the knees in sincere prayer!! Today, 6
climbed down the ladder into the cistern, where Jeff baptized these
who committed hearts to Christ.
They want a church and have land a some stones. We began to prepare
hearts to give… “None of us are thieves, they responded when
asked… But after reading Mal. 3:8-9 they said most were thieves.
Then began to give. One woman gave her gold 8000rs, another a load of
sand, another use of her tractor… they gave 35,000rs, we matched it
and they had some money and a great church is being built!! (In honor
of Bro. Guthrie at Stigler First AG). 81,500 rs given, even more than
needed in estimate–may get ceiling fan!!!
It is an incredible joy to stand beside these and strengthen their
hands and together build the first church in village and know these
are sincere pure hearted people who are here because one God fearing
woman led one sick lady to the Lord in hospital, 12 years ago. Both
those ladies are now with the Lord, but the brother, Prabu Das pastors
here and reaching 3 more villages…
Lord help us have the zeal, drive and strong overcoming determination!!
Gave for good churches at Indlur Village from (Souls Harbour in Jay,
Ok), and Gorenkapalli from (Abundant Life Church). and checked on
Kasurajapalli where the church is being built and looking
good…plaque is from Grandview Tabernacle in Muscogee–will dedicate
in October. PTL!!
Gave talents to widows, and many heard Gospel that have not heard before!!
I am so thankful for privilege God gives to share and observe His love
to people never hearing before…
We sit outside under a light in Ishkababivigudem Village at 845pm,
swat bugs, dodge the bats and write because of blessing of a thumb
drive that connects to internet…

Assembly of God. Church is coming up well, and plaque looks nice, but
in Oct. when we shared and gave for church, a villager gave double the
land and so instead of a small church, this is coming up much
bigger–seat 150-200. Pray they have enough to complete it. A joy
was the woman, Elishamma that came to Christ and we were there when
she held hands with her husband and he also accepted Christ.
Both are in church and growing stronger!
Cherlagoraram Village- We sit in front of simple home of people who
break stones for 4 rs each and the whole village is stone breakers.
The first believer in the village is Inkula, now 60 and has 6
children. They have all come to Christ and are now about 30 believers
of 1000 in village, but growing and good spirit!!
They spoke up quickly that 1 of 10 stones broken belong to God. All
children have come and “Naga Raju”, “snake King, now called Daniel, 25
was the last to come 2 years ago.
It was blessing to hear and see a large family sitting on the mat in
front of the house sharing how God has changed their life since coming
to know Him. The debts and misery are gone since they have learned to
tithe and give… Daily, the whole family sits and reads the Word of
God together. The younger ones whoa can read, read to all.
We look where they have been building a stone church the past 5 years,
but have no more money. Publicly we stood and committed among
themselves, one by one to give 24,000Rupees, then we matched it and a
nice church will be complete.
The joy is this pastor, Paul, who came 9 years ago was only 20, but
has led them and 3 other villages to Christ. These are the only
churches in the villages.
Paul, we helped with his first village church in RA Nagar in 2011.
Dr. Mast and I pulled up early AM in Feb 2011 and no one met us and
small concrete stone church. Today, we visit and the church regularly
has 80 members that totally overflow the church and is growing so so
much!!
6 took baptism today. One woman who was Laxmmama and is now “Saramma”
stepped in for baptism. She is about 26 and the power of God hit her
and she shook and cried as she went under. Then she shared how 1
month ago, she worshipped hannamun, the monkey. She got a tumor and
had no hope, but a brilliant light filled the room she was in and a
man stood there that she came to know was Jesus. She said “all I
could do was shout HALLALEUJAH and shake”. Jesus healed her last
month and now she follows in baptism.
She stood with her 2 small 2 year old boys, tears streaming down her
face and thanking the Lord for all He is doing in her life!! We named
her Sarramma.
Christ is revealing himself to many in this way. Miracles are
happening and so many are coming to Christ!
Another man, Ramalu, 28, rode motorcycle, wanted baptism. After he
took baptism, his name is now Phillip. He shared this one year since
accepting Christ, everything he does is prospering, even as Phillip
kept being blessed and prospering everywhere he went…
We had an easier day today. JUst 4 villages after the drive from Hyderabad.!! Our team of Jeff Oaks, Melody, “superwoman” Mauldin and
myself!! We are blessed and so so thankful for your prayers!!
With so much thanks, prayers and joy to serve the Lord,
Just a note in case anyone would like to hear Pastor Mauldin and is in the Coal Hill, Ar. area on this coming Sunday, Feb. 10th, he will be giving us an update in person. God bless you!
Kerry Mauldin
February 19-March 19, Melody, and I will be in the villages in AP India. Jeff Oakes from Stigler will join us the first 2 weeks. We have so much anticipation as we have seen God‘s blessing poured out these 17 years in increasing measure! The people truly have open hearts and so so many are coming to Christ and following in baptism!!
This will be a packed month! We have 45 churches and 7 wells to dedicate and the following list is the first of 2 lists of churches and bore wells and talents applied for by pastors in the villages! Most of these are the first and only church in a village. Pastors have graduated Bible training schools, go to a village and get a land and start building a group of believers….our joy is to come and see the hearts of these new believers, teach them and stand beside them and strengthen their hands with tools to bless and serve the Lord like a well or church. We also want to bless the widows with a “Talent” like in Matthew 25–to make a living…
Please help us pray for wisdom as we go and “Inspect and not just expect”.
1) Pray that we miss nothing we are supposed to accomplish or give.
2) Pray many souls come to know Christ and have the Eternal Hope!
3) Pray we walk in health, strength and safety and have God’s favor…
4) Pray incredible doors will open to accomplish more than we imagine.
5) Pray we will have everything we need to accomplish what God puts before us.
6) Pray signs and wonders will follow us as we believe and people will be healed, delivered and eternally changed!
Thank you all so so much for giving and holding us in prayer!
It is a joy when you go the distance to a village and share the Truth of the Word and see a village learn and put it to use!!
This last tour of villages we really focused on tithing and giving so that the villages can experience Gods plan of blessing!!
When we go to a village church and only 2 of 50 pay tithe and they meet in a grass hut some years, teaching is needed!!
In this world, people are often quick to ask or even expect someone else to provide for them and feel they are entitled…
We ask and expect God to bless us and provide for us, even when we “rob” Him.
If we don’t learn to walk in obedience to His Word, His blessing can not come!!
It is a joy to see Pastor Babu follow up on the teaching we gave and the people learn to give! It is a joy to help people that are giving themselves for a project. 7000rs is about $140 of the cost of the well!! PTL!!
We leave Feb 18 for India and the villages and anticipate blessing many villages with wells, churches, and meeting needs of widows and handicapped. We are in anticipation of applications of 45 churches and wells for villages that need a church or well!

We collected about Rs. 7,000/- for the bore well purpose …..!!
Sir , you have asked us how and where would we fix the bore well – Sir the Prayer house is located next to the colony I reside in , we have enough space inside the colony and fix a tank outside the colony , from where all the people will be able to get water for free , thus we’ll gather people around to whom I introduce my self and Preach Gospel …
In the beginning , along with my family when I moved into this colony where the neighbors are non believers , the neighbors gave us a warm welcome and very soon we got along well , I introduced myself as a Pastor and slowly started Preaching Gospel by sharing my Testimony – Sir , I come from a very poor family , my father passed away when I was still in my mother’s womb . My mother took care of me , my elder siblings – a sister and a brother , all alone by working as a daily wage worker…
When I was six year old , I fell ill and was hospitalized , physicians treating me declared me to die within an hour – my mother pleaded with the doctors to help me survive , but my condition was worsening , soon I slipped into coma and my body temperature was falling low , my heart stopped beating and doctors gave up over my life and my body was being prepared to take into the mortuary room… Learning about my condition my grand mother ( My father’s mother ) visited me in the hospital bringing along with her four Pastors , till that time among my whole family only my granny was as a believer - Pastors Prayed for me and I miraculously awoke from the deep sleep , doctors marveled to see me regaining consciousness and pulse – very soon I’ve been healthy as if I never feel ill …
My mother rejoiced in the Lord’s name who Healed me and saved my life from death , my whole family surrendered to the Lord and accepted Jesus as the Savior and never looked back since then – There after my family and I have witness many of the Lord;s works in our lives and always Praised and thanked Him for all His mercies …
When I was 13 year old I journey to Hyderabad from Prakhasham district , I even visited Warangal district where I attended a Gospel Prayer meeting – after hearing the Word I desired to grow up as a Pastor and learn many more things about Christ and the Gospel – since then I regularly attended Church , Prayer meetings – during such visits to Prayer meetings I had once met Pastor Ravi at ‘ Hosanna Church ‘ , he helped me a lot to understand many things about the Word – I received God’s call when I was 16 years old - I submitted myself to the Lord’s will , it took me 5 years to get qualified in the theory course required to get educationally qualified as a Pastor – Later in the year 2004 , I went back to Hyderabad following God’s shown vision – when I came to Hyderabad I had only Rs.240 /- but God never lacked me anything , though I faced many obstacles in the process of establishing my vision into reality – the ” Mahima Prayer House ” , God was with me through out and gradually Blessed me with the Church which is named ” Mahima Prayer House ” according to His shown vision – there after number of the people in the congregation started increasing gradually ..
God has Blessed me with a wife named Jyoti, whose also a believer , she was a member of Pastor. Christudassu’s Church .. we both together work in the Church activities and Preach Gospel among the non believers … God has also Blessed me with a daughter named Jerusha and a son named Seon Raj ..
Sir , am glad that I could share my Testimony once again through this application , on behalf of the members of ” Mahima Prayer House ” , I request you to kindly look into our request and help us with the required monetary support after considering Rs. 7,000/- which we have collected for the bore well purpose … Kindly remember ” Mahima Prayer House ” , its members and my family in your Prayers ….We Pray to read from you soon , thanking you….!!
If anyone is interested in taking this trip with Pastor Mauldin, contact me and I will email him your information and let him get in touch with you! God bless you!
We are going back to India Feb 18, and as I sent by email last week, on the return, we are going to return to Turkey and to the Seven Churches and Tarsus, Antioch and Haran…. So many sites to learn and grow in the Word!!!
Many have written that they are interested, but just now is the pricing available and we can have 10-19 people at these prices. If we go over 30 people, it drops in price $100.
These are aproximate prices, but are an attempt to get a low price where Melody and I pay the same low price you do….
Attached is an itinerary to meet Melody and I in Istanbul on March 13 and fly to SE Turkey to see Tarsus, Antioch and Harran–where Jacob lived 20 years with Laban and herded goats and got his wives!!
We would come back to Istanbul and proceed to drive to Troy–Trojan Horse–and on to Troas (where Eutychus fell from window as Paul preached, Assos, and on to Seven Churches!!
There is so much to see and learn!!
The total price of $2550 is from Chicago on Turkish Air–Which when combining International and Domestic Turkey flights are given a much cheaper flight price. You can arrange own flights, but Domestic flights lose the bargain package price… As you see, the $2550 is for double occupancy and a $390 addition is for single occupant.
The only additional is getting to Chicago, Los Angelos, or Washington for connecting to Turkish flights.
This is aproximate tour estimate till it is booked…sometimes changes occur…
At the bottom of Tour attachment, The flights are included in the $2550 price, but additional is the Turkish Visa of $20, and tips to tour guide. (Turkish Govt requires Turkish guide) (We will have guide, but I will share and together we will learn and make the Word prayerfully come alive and have teaching materials in your hands from the years of walking this path in Turkey!!)
For this price on tour and cheaper air, it is with 10 person group tour.
We are prayerful that God will bring an awesome team together–as He always does–and we will make incredible memories together!!
Note from GTI Tours:
The estimated $2550.00 per person is using Turkish Airlines from Chicago and does not include U.S. domestic connecting flights from any other cities. Turkish Airlines air fare is based on currently fares subject to availability. Guide/driver tips, lunches and Turkish visas have not been included.
Let me know if you want us to proceed with securing air and ground!!

I just got a call from Julie Norman. She and Ed are good friends in Phoenix. We have ministered together for years, doing Special Touch camps for those with disabilities, and elsewhere… Ed has been a quadraplegic for over 35 years because of an accident when he was 18.
Ed has been thru many tests of life and death especially the past 5 years, but in Sept we ministered together at Arizona Special Touch, his first time to minister in a long time.
Julie shared that Ed got an infection that has gone septic and progressed to where he is now in ICU with blood clots and many challenges….
She called and asked if I could get people to pray! SO PLEASE PRAY!!
Especially that Ed will know so clearly the PRESENCE OF THE LORD. He is not able to communicate, but is very restless….
“In His presence is fullness of joy” and His peace will settle deep inside Ed and he will not be anxious…
Thank you for praying! Many of you know Ed! He so loves the Lord and is such a wonderful Brother and so blessed at sharing God‘s Word!!
Melody and I are home 2 days now from India and Dubai, UAE. We are so thankful and so blessed to look back at God’s grace and the things that were accomplished in the villages, for Gods glory!!
Thank you all for praying and standing with us!! We go back to India, Lord willing, Around Feb. 15.
Missionary to India: Interview with Brother Kerry Mauldin
Kerry Mauldin was employed by Kmart for 20 years. He worked as a Manager there until 1996, when the disease of Muscular dystrophy caused him to have to leave. When most people would be devastated by this, Kerry found that sometimes life’s greatest challenges can bring the greatest opportunities. This would bring him the door of opportunity to a whole new chapter in his life. The door was opened for Missions and for the past 15 years he has been a missionary to remote villages in Andrah Pradesh, India. Kerry is licensed with the Assemblies of God. He is the Founder of Mauldin Ministries. By the grace of God, his ministry has planted and built 254 churches, drilled many wells, and continues to help widows and handicapped people with talents. He bases the work of the talents on Matthew 25:15-29. The talents that he helps them with are goats and water buffalo. He teaches them to use what they have to double their talents. After they double their talents they bring the First Fruit back and then give it to another widow or handicapped person. At times, Kerry is accompanied by a Doctor who travels with him to do some medical missions as well. However, his main focus and call is to share the “HOPE” that we have in Christ. His greatest joy is touching the lives of people who have never heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and he said, “this is the motivation to keep going.” Kerry resides in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. He has four children: Anderea, 31; Rachel, 28; Holly, 23; and Andrew, 20. His website is http://www.mauldinministries.com. He has a personal facebook and his email address is kemauldin2@yahoo.com .
Please read the rest of this post at India Media Missions and if you are able to contribute to these missions, please do so! God bless you!
Mauldin Ministries also accepts donations and it would be greatly appreciated!
This is the last full day in the villages! We have been blessed to stay in Ishkababavagudem the last 2 weeks. It is very simple with bucket baths and intermitent electricity at best, but has been a joy! 16 years ago this was an empty field that I stood with a group of villagers around a mud hut that was caved in, taht they used to pray in. Now is a church with 2 rooms behind that we stay in. The village has a dirt road and a little kiosk shop to get eggs and milk. The church is by far the biggest
building and nicest with the well water…
Today we went to Bommakel and visited Siadamma, 28, who has cerebral palsy and is challenged to walk. She lives alone, but has a neat small house and nice yard.
Five years ago we gave her chickens (10) as a talent. They were 750rs. She raised chickens and gave the church a gift of 500rs from the income. Now she has a buffalo worth 7000rs and several chickens that give 12 eggs which she sells. What a joy and blessing to see the talents multiply and God bless them!! She was truly thankful and I was so blessed to see her stand in the doorway of her clean small house and in a challenged way to most, call the chickens… and they responded!!
At Kesharajupalli Village, Vani, a Happy Home girl, and her husband pastor a church. The Happy Home is the orphanage Jaya and Phoebe have that we have worked with these 17 years. Vani was here till 2000. Now she is married and we sat on the porch of their rented house where they have church service. Nearby are the steel rods for pillars rising from the ground , for a church! We gave for a roof and more… What a blessing to hear Vani share the memories of the 5 yuears she was at Happy Home. The goal these many years is preparation of these girls to serve the Lord! Sometimes you wonder how it will happen, but to see them mature and in leadership…what a joy!! It is a joy to give a church in “Hairy King” Village.
At Ramnagar Colony, Pastor Samuel has 50 plus people and we met under the simple shed attached to his house. They want a nice church-prayer shed.
The people were all idol worshippers till 3 years ago. All were sharing how much better life is now that they serve only Christ!! “We are abundantly blessed”!!
We shared salvation bracelets and one woman came up for an extra bracelet.
“Three years ago, I was having problems many years with my womb. Pastors came and prayed and this Jesus healed me.” 55 year old Elishamma said.
Now I was my husband Malliah (local god name) to also know this Jesus. ” She shared the meaning of bracelet back to us in rehearsal. We asked if she wanted us to go to her home and share? “No, he is in the fields.”
We were about to leave when a monsoon hit. We could not leave, but next thing, Malliah comes. I sit on floor with him as his wife with her long pink saree sits beside with prayers flowing in her heart.
He listens quietly after first saying, “This eternal life, I leave to fate. I don’t know what I will get.”
By the time we finished the heart to heart time, he was much wanting Christ!! Elishamma held his hand and together prayed the prayer of salvation!
What blessed me was she had a plan and God saw the heart and brought Malliah to place to find Christ. We encouraged him to take a new name at baptism. ELIJAH, as his wife is ELISHA momma. Ha!! How those rains came–out of cloud the size of a mans hand…. (not really).
Last village was Bodangirarthi Village–”Bald Woman Village”:. We dedicated a great church given by Poteau First AG.
A woman gave land and since 2008 they had the foundation and 2′ high wall around. We gave to finish columns and roof.
Only 30 attend, but will seat over 200. We did teaching on reaching your village and being givers… The people serveda great lunch and were so encouraged!!
It is a joy to dedicate thsi great church in “Bald Headed Woman Village”.
The literal meanings so help me keep a picture in my mind!!
We have baptised 68, given 6 wells and right at 40 churches this trip. We put right at 3000 salvation bracelets in the hand of people that so many said, “We never heard this story before and don’t know this Jesus, but will listen.”
We finalize tomorrow and make sure we miss nothing!!
Thank you all so much for praying and standing with us!!
Our next to last day in the villages and we had 2 churches we dedicated, gave 1 well and 3 more churches!! 8 baptisms today and 66 baptisms last 3 weeks!!
I’ll start by sharing the last village!
Went to Thatikalli Village–Toddy tree Village–alcohol tree. Met Pastor Satyam (Truth). He came to Christ 8 years ago. “Please, I am the only believer in my family, but tonight they are all gathered for you to share.” We sat with his Mom, dad, Brother, aunts, uncles…room full. These worship Shiva and the family has a temple outside the house on the road.
satyam shared that 8 years ago ge went to Ganges River and all big temples at age 32 looking for “Truth”. He had no peace and only thought of suicide and death. He had been married 12 years and had no children.
He walked barefoot 20 miles to SriSailam to worship Shive–covered with flowers and all family cheered him on. Just wanted to die!!
He sold all his property and was left with nothing…
He was introduced to Jesus. He had nothing in this world, so accepted Christ. “Within 10 days my life was turned around. I felt peace, no voice to kill myself, business and we had a baby, Divya “special one”.
Tonight, the whole family was in agreement that Satyam was totally different and they wanted to listen. As we shared, they asked many probing questions. At the end, the whole family prayed the prayer of salvation. We all went outside and took family picture. Satyam and his brother Siadalu, took oil and put a shield around that Shiva temple and satan can not cross the blood of Jesus. All family had voiced their fear of turning from Shiva. But they took huge step of faith.
We gave Prayer Shed and went to family roadside snack stand and prayed…
Amazing thing…the Shiva Temple had been locked with all shiva chains and worship things locked inside. The god could not open the door or lock!! But no door or stone could hold our Lord!!!
Subbareddygudem set the tone for the day. We went to dedicate this small but good church! About 100 packed inside full…. They listened and 3 times shared the Gospel as so many kept coming and all people would scruntch up closer so more could enter. It rained all thru the day so no one could work in cotton fields. So many came today to hear as they were free from the fields… 5 took baptism in barrel. We could hardly manage as so many people!!
Gave bore well for water to Indupamala womens group. It will save 45 minutes per day walking to get water… PLEASE!!!
We issued a challenge… “What will you do with all the free time saved? ather the women all together and write a plan how the water well will bless the village and also how it will help you win souls for Christ? They took the challenge with joy! This village Calvary AG gave for church in 2010 and today it is beautiful and finished!
These women fixed lunch and this village is 65% Christian and very clean for Indian village.
I shared with them the blessing of the lunch they gave and also that this is one of cleanest villages I’ve ever seen. They were so so thankful and blessed. They kept wanting to kiss my hand! Blessing, but I have incredible wife sitting beside me! Touched us both at the way that comment blessed those women!!
So thankful for the many souls today that heard the Gospel that had never heard before!
Today is fulfilling the purpose of this ministry.. Planting churches in new villages as first church in a village and sharing love of Christ. So many good things, page of journal is so full…
Christ the Saviour (Pantokrator), a 6th-century encaustic icon from Saint Catherine’s Monastery, Mount Sinai. NB – slightly cut down – for full size see here (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
I enjoy the peace that comes to have a day that is not so pressed…
We only went to two villages today and wrapped up decisions on wells and churches from previous villages!! All wells given for are now committed to a village and we have many good churches committed to build!!
Kathapalli Village–”Banjara Fields”– a village that we had to translate English to Telegu, then to Banjara… Pastor Rajuratnam has been here b15 years and has done a good work. Fifty adult believers in this remote hill village and many are seeking! Today most all adults are in cotton fields and all children 10 and up are in fields also.
Children get 70 rs and adults 100rs for all day work.
We share Christ as many children, older adults and the wife of hindu priest set between the well and new church site. One woman, 25, Kruppamma (Grace) comes with her tiny baby. She has already picked her 25kg bag of cotton–you can tell she would be a good worker–and with her baby sits to listen. A few women gather and in humble, hard working country way share how they need a church and all will help build it.
Krupamma has not named her baby and she gives to Melody and says, “Will you give a name to my baby girl?”
Melody named her Elizebeth. (John Baptists Mom). The twinkle and smile of joy from that Mom….
We share Christ and all accept, except the Hindu priests wife. She is dressed as Lombadie woman and refuses to pray. I call out to her and she accepts the challenge in front of all: To ask God to speak to her heart… She shook hands in agreement that she would pray! She wants this eternal life, just is not sure about this Jesus.
God will reveal Himself and give peace!!
Just yards away is the temple to the monkey god–hanamun, that her husband is village priest.
Pastor shared, the priest comes and sits at the church and is now seeking!! He and his wife will come!! His name in Nari (human).
Dindi Village–We dedicate well from Eureka Springs AG in honor of My good friend, Bro and Sis Gilmore, who are now with the Lord!!
We helped this church with first tiny prayer shed 2 years ago. Now has moved into larger nice church and used roofing from prayer shed. It has grown to 80 adults and needs flooring and plaster. Only 2 of 80 pay tithes, so instead of giving for that, we gave for chickens to “test” God like in Malachi 3:8-10. The people heard and many said they do not want to be under financial curse, but walk in blessing. “We will pay the tithe”
we gave chickens to those who wanted to pay tithe and learn. We ask who wanted to learn, and when hands of the sincere went up, we put a tithe chicken in the hand. Then others wanted to learn… tooo late…. for this test…
Pastor shared he normally gets 300rs tithe per month. ($6). Today his salary multiplied and he was with such joy!!
Even as I write, we came to Ishka Village where we have stayed these past 2 weeks. It is nice breeze and a blessing in the simplicity of the village life.
Melody and Debbie have gone for prayer teaching in a town. 200-300 are expected… I know they will be physically drained…
Always pouring out and touching lives. People stand inque and wait so long for prayer! People are spiritually desperate and willing to do all they can to find answers and peace!!
We had a long drive this AM in a packed car with anticipation of great things…8 in a 7 passenger jeep…
Went to Devarakonda (god of the hills) town and surrounding…
Our vision is to go to villages that have no church and need a boost after a few years of a pastor working hard and needs a roof or walls on a church.
Ananiya is a young man that has been helped with a bore well and a church in 2 villages he works. He was going to guide us as our faithful Emmanuel, had a wedding to perform in his village.
Ananiya began by taking us to the town, and despite clear instruction and 4 places listed where we were supposed to visit…he guided!! Lord help us!!
He guided us to 3 places that were all established and good churches, wells, compound walls but had a need…
For instance, one place has 80 families, a big nice church built in 2004, bore well and a nice wall around the place with many cocionut and trees and looks so good!
The pastor and his son were there. We began to get to know them and find their need. The pastors house roof was metal, but a big house and it was needing replaced. They had no money saved to do it.
Out of 80 families, only 2 pay tithe. I’m not sure where they got money for the nice place, but these requestss trouble me deeply. He wants money from me and for 12 years he has not taught his people to give, or saved and wants someone else to provide!
God blesses us when we are faithful learning to begin with small things.
We went to hindu home nearby and shared Christ and several accept and 2 want baptism. We gave!!
I offered pastor money for 120 chickens and shred teaching on Malachi 3 and for him to teach the tithing…
He turned his back on me. “Why should I put chickens in their hands? If they don’t take care of them, I will be to blame.” He would not take the 2000rs from my hand. We went away If he pass the test and send a good report, we may help him….
That was the way the morning went!! So challenging being taken to places that don’t meet our purpose or vision…
We went late afternoon to area near Nagar Juna Sager. This is large lake and looks like a sea. we drove on roads along lake and it is so so beautiful with huge fields along shore and big hills with rocky outcrops surrounding the whole area.
After a long long drive, we could see in the distance on the hillside a large nice beige church–looked great!! Green Forrest AG gave for this and it is so impressive at the head of that Sea village on the sid e of the big hill!
These people have round fishing boats by most every house and are people totally dependant on fishing. We had to climb up the big hill, like all the goats that were feeding the hill around the church. Fresh dirst and stones from construction and that steep climb was a challenge on my 4 legs…Ha!!
At first no one came but 3 women and a few kids But they put the big loud speaker at the door of the church which is over the village. As the drums pounded and tamborines rang and people wailed–sang,, Here they came!! About half the village is now Christian and excited with about 100 families!!
We celebrated with them and gave for a well as there is none in whole village and used lake water!
When we come again, we will try to go early, spend the day in the homes of villagers and maybe learn fishing with a net! It so makes me think of exactly what it would be like for the disciples and kind of like Capernaum–reminds me…
They promise us a fish dinner and then they waved as long as we could see them as we drove away….
We gave 2 prayer sheds, one big church roof in Kimballapalli–”Felt Cloth” village–which is so remote but 1200 families and first church in village will be awesome!!!
So many frustrations led to a blessing. We had long drive, flat tire and our guide was very questionable. We were to be at a meeting in MiryalaGudem at 7pm for service where Debbie Dewan was going to speak. With all the challenge, flat etc. we got there at 1030pm. The church was still packed WAITING with 200-300 people sitting since before 7pm. INCREDIBLE hunger for the Word and Gods presence!!
Lord help us stir that hunger!!
Love and so appreciate each! We are so thankful that so many read these and pray…
If anyone wants to be removed from getting these notes, please just let me know!! We appreciate everyones prayers!!
One of my favorite pictures in scripture is Jesus on the shore of the sea of Galillee with the disciples coming back after going 2 by 2 into every village and sharing with the people in preparation for Jesus coming that way. As the disciples told all that happened in those villages: demons cast out, healings, peoples lives touched for His glory, Jesus REJOICED IN SPIRIT–I can see Him dancing for joy!!
Yesterday we went to 6 villages, gave 5 Prayer Sheds and churches, Dedicated a nice church given by Fern AG in Mountainburg, AR, gave several baptisms and was a full day!!
A joy is going to Sithya Thanda to house of Kishen, 19, the boy with polio that when he was 14, we met on the dark roadside along with many villagers. We were going to help him, but all said he could do nothing because he had a polio leg. We finally gave him a pair of goats. Now his goats have multiplied, he got his degree to teach school, he is local Sunday School teacher and he starts Bible School in 2 weeks. We went to his parents home–thatch small house, but right next door they are building nice brick house and when we come up, his Momma comes and grabs my legs as a sign of thanks…. Of course you grab her hands to get her to stand, but you can see their heart of thanks!!! In the tank in front of the house others take baptism!!
When God works, it is a joy to look back and see how Gods blessing so flows and so many lives changed!!
At Tunga Thurthi we dedicate well from Dubai City Church and dedicate a prayer shed beside it.
Many miracles since 2 years since we first came to thius village:
One couple had come for prayer after 10 years of marriage and no children. They have a beautiful baby boy in thier arms, 1 year old!!
A 35 year old man had a brain tumor and in 2002 had brain surgery. 10 years later, he is alive and sits on front row playing cymbals to add to beat of the drums in Prayer Shed worship. He is blind since, and has cotton on his forehead as he still has puss from the surgery wound on his head these 10 years later. We pray for him…
The most joy for me in villages is to go in the night to the last village… Often it is tempting to miss this village as we are tired, long drive and worn out…
But we came to Nagaram and sit on a packed front porch with 40 people… they have worked all day in the cotton fields and it is a little after 7, they are tired, but bright eyed and excitement. You sit and look in those huge brown eyes of incredibly hospitable people who have eached worked to filla 25kg bag with cotton bowls -for a days work. The cotton cuts the skin so all wear long sleeve shirts and toil for 100 rupee.
Men and women make up 10 member teams that the land owners pick for their fields…
We begin to share and these are such hungry hearts!! The first believer came to Christ 2 years ago and now about 40 and have church walls up and need a roof.
Do the teaching on salvation and ask how many want to be blessed. OIf course every hand shoots up as they want to follow Christ in every detail. I ask if I can ask one really hard question first? They say yes!!
Are there any thieves here? I ask. There is smiles and eyes glancing one to another…”No sir, we are not thieves.” After reading Malachi 3:8, they began to say, “No sir, We did not know that we were thieves we will all begin to give.”
We sat at length in that heart to heart time with them sharing about work. I shared about Ruth and Naomi and how Ruth went to the field to work and how land owner would leave Handfuls of grain on purpose to bless the widows…
“No sir, land owners let us leave nothing”. They share what it is like to work with some land owners, kind, giving water etc… how some land owners areso tough,
how after working all day in the fields, they face the 2 km walk home…
When hearts are open and you see the challenges and life of work and struggle, but share how we can have victory!! I am so so so thankful for Gods hand of blessing to sit with such people who I know one day will spend eternity with!!
These people gave 10,200 rs and we matched 20,400rs to build a beautiful little church as the first church in this village with incredible hearts!!
Joy !!!
Thank you so so much for praying and notes of encouragement!! We have few more days in villages…

Today we got back to “home” of village Ishkababvagudem at 630 pm. So unusual and nice. Gets dark before 6.
This morning, we were headed 60 km to the first village about 830 AM and we passed a large group of people on highway. They surrounded a lady who was on her hands and knees crawling 200 kn (120) miles to the temple of her god. These people would lay mats out in front of her and she crawled to show her committment and devotion to her god and to get an answer to her prayer.
We were gone till 530 pm when we passed back thru that section of country and that lady was still crawling the milees. Women were ariund her, agony on her face and they were wiping and prodding her on. I snapped a picture from jeep widow as we passed 10 feet from her. They all started yelling and whistling. That grim dertermination for their “god” is incredible to me!! These gods can not hear or answer prayers, –trees, rocks, rivers, animals, but they are worshipped in grim determination…
Today was dedicating churches and hearing of miracles and God‘s blessing!!
I will share only the last church.
We came to Sri Nagar Colony and pulled up to a 35′ long thatch jute shed built 12 years ago. Since then, nicer houses have come up as the 120 or so church members have been blessed as they serve the Lord!!
Next door is a new church under construction, 25x 5o and good big church. It is so needed as the people could not all get in the jute house.
The pastor Jacob that startede the church, died Oct 2010 when kidneysv failed. Now pastor Ravi has taken.
We shared salvation bracelets, but these are all believers who know the Word and are well versed in the Word!
Then I asked how much they love Christ? Yes, with all our hearts!!
Do you want to take4 a test? “?” “ok”
How many thieves are here?” None, they said with wonderment at the question.”
I asked them to look at Malachi 3:8 and who robs God. Only 12 paid tithe so after teaching all saidv they want to pay tithe and break the curse and be blessed…
I then asked about the church next door. 300,000 rs needed for completing the roof. They already had given for walls but much work still…
We prepared our hearts and asked people to share what God put bin the heart. For 20 minutes we slowly got 46,000rs. Then prayed again. 2000more rs.
We prayed again and hurt and anger engulfed me. It wasn;t me, but God’s spirit rising in me and I began to weep. I wept deep and sobbed. It just broke my heart and I think it was the Holy Spirit in me, it came kind of like a message in tongues and it hit me…….
“For 12 years you have served God in this jute thatch house while you are blessed with nice houses. I do not want to come from USA and beg you to give to build your own church for God and have a nice house for him.
They began to give up to 70,000 and as they stood it was written down.
God was stretching me and finally I shared, “for every rs to 100,000 we will match it… Within 5 minutes people popped up all over and when finished 281,000 rs were had. People all began to clap loud and in rythmic unison, on and on… Shouting praise to God!!!
One last note… In first village Dadanacherla, we gathered in new Prayer Shed to dedicate. About 50 came and one Grandma in 50′s came who was muslim and woman of middle means. After we shared the Gospel and gave opportunity to accept, she was only one when I asked face to face, she said no to Gospel.
She started to leave and I called to her, interrupting the message and she stopped…I gave her the challenge to ask God to speak to her heart and if she felt peace that this was the way to the Eternal Life, to pray the prayer.
She thanked me with a wry smile and left.
20 minutes later she called across lot from her house to the Prayer Shed and beckoned a young woman who soon returned carrying a heaping pot of rice pudding as a thank you to us…
Do I we have that determination for Christ to go the extra and be willing to fulfill His plan in our life, even if we are supposed to crawl 120 miles on our knees?
We stopped at a church in Miryalagudem first thing in early morning. A man Venkanna, 33 and his wife, daughter 10 and son 12 were waiting. I so vividly remember 7 years ago in the first prayer shed by a swamp as this young woman was in the dirt of that prayer shed and she was so broken with tears crying for God to bring Venkanna , then 26, back. He was introduced to some men and had financial challenges so he began to go with them…
These men would dress like women with saree and make-up and would go thru the city and create havoc banging drums, noise and beg and demand money. In Nandyal similar people came where we stay and we would go inside and lock the door. These are tough people…
Venkanna lived 7 years with these men who were homosexual and would even “marry”, according to Venkanna. “We faced so many problems and never had peace or joy. We all knew what we were doing was very wrong, but we were stubborn and would not listen. Some went to church, but would not listen and were determined for this life…” “Some would join us because wanted money and that life…”
Venkatt got a knot (tumor) in his stomach and needed surgery. 3 months ago, he called his wife from another city and she took him back. She went deep in debt to do the 150000 surgery, but it was done. Now Venkatt is home, with HIV and no relationship is possible in natural with his wife, But she stood with him.
He looked me in the eye and shared his heart of regretting his choice and death it has brought, but his determination to serve the Lord now!!
They have nothing and deeply in debt. He has only one skill, laundry… So we gave 3000rs as he requested equipment to iron laundry–a talent.
Lord, to have the grace, mercy and compassion that Venkannas wife had as she cried out and did not give up for 7 years…
At Paradula the POWER of God came down!!! This is dedication of a beautiful church all painted and nice, given in part by DeQueen AG in ARK.
When we came here last Feb. all the believers were at the church location laying cement blocks. Melody , I and Jeff gallant all carried some blocks and there was joy! We sat in the village with many people around and shared Christ. The church is growing and good strong church is in the village now!!
Pastor is Spirit filled pentecostal, but this little hut church was first planted by a church 11 years ago “Faith Baptist Church“. Now 11 years and had grown out of hut and we came to village and helped construct.
As we set in congregation of 40 or sobaptised believers, 20 more not yet baptised… None had baptism of Holy Spirit. Annointing came strong and I shared and prepared the hearts. These are all givers, good, hard working people, but they wanted more of God. After sharing and they asking God to fill them, they all were on knees with arms lifted and asking and waiting, God began to move!!! One womana with tears streaming began to let out an almost bone chilling shout that startled me, but immediately I knew it was God!! These Baptists could shout!!! One by one they were touched or out under the power of God!! Some testified they got a new langusge they did not understand…
I know this church given in part by DeQueen AG will prosper much!!! We gave a well here given by Mountain Home AG, as it is 2km to closest water. All these ladies were excited to not carry water. Some also had glasses still that we gave in Feb. and all remembered the salvation bracelet message!!!
We stopped for 1 baptism at a stream by the road near, Tirumalangira. As we made our way to the water, a police jeep stopped and commander got out and began to question, “Why are you here? What are you doing? He was hindu and and thoughts flashing thru my heart.
“We came here to pray”, one said! “Is this a temple?” the police asked? “No, we just are praying here.”
Then the uniformed officer man stood beside me and put arm on my shoulder around me and crutches and his deputy stepped up with camera to take our picture.
“If you need any help in my area, call.” “Carry on” he said!!
It was a relief, as i was not sure what to expect. Some problems can come for baptising, but only GODS GRACE……
Longer drive today, but much anticipation day by day! God is giving strength and 2 more join us this evening from Dubai…
I have been concerned my leg is still so weak. Sitting in car, every village we pass thru (so many) I am pressing hard 25 times 3 different ways on that knee to try and exercise that muscle of the knee-leg and get to walk freely again!1 Only by Gods grace!!
Thank you so much for prayingand standing with us to encourage!!
If you can see these 12 village men, short with white lungi’s wrapped around the waist and turban on the head with a large wooden goad balanced on the head, marching behind a huge pair of hump backed oxen with a large wooden yoke joining them…
12 teams–yoke of these oxen came and lined up in the field that Lingiah has now inhereited from his grandfather. It is 5 acres and has a gushing spring of water… beautiful.
These men were such a blessing to make a memory. They got special things for Melody and I to wear as we took the plow-till handle on the last yoke of oxen! It would be a huge challenge to manage these animals, but these guys could hee and haw and get them to line up!
We were recreating a scene from the Word! What a memory!! The men of Puchakylagudem blessed us!!
At Mukundupauram–we set under a big tree in front of huts of plastic and thatch that these people have lived in 20 years! They weave mats out of straw. their fingers literally f;ly as they take the foot long grass and weave and add peices into the mat to make a large mat of 8×10 feet.
These set to hear the GOspel where Pastor Lukas has come 4 years and needs a prayer shed. These we taught to give for the church and after waiting on the Lord, told them for every rupee, we would match 3. We raised the money to build and after 2 took baptism and we stepped into some simple huts to pray blessing, we all stood in front of place prayer shed is going up!! Excited people!! The joy is when people find the way to Eternal Life!!
Tipparam Village is where 43 AG drilled a well and we go to dedicate a beautifully strong church where about 100 adults now meet on Sunday. Also about that many children. Berryville Christian Fellowship gave for the church –we used theirr offerings from the years…
So many are being reached in this group: sick, idolaters, possessed… One man Bicksham–”Beggar”, came up with HIV. He accepted Christ standing in front of plaque of newly dedicated church! He is so thin and so weak. Prayed for him and know he also has Eternal Life!!!!
Church has more stones to go up, plaster, paint and floor, but it great place to meet and all are so happy! Gave a wonderful, simple lunch in home of widow who was hindu, but one month now has come to Christ and 3 children!!
Last village to share is Kalvapalli. This is Banjara-Gypsy people that we baptised about 18 in canal 2 years ago and helped with a prayer shed. We came back this time to dedicate a well given by Cottom family!
At least 35 adults are coming to this church and about that many youth. The church is almost full.
The reason, is so many lives are being changed. A woman stood and shared she had been 6 months in hospital at death… Nothing Dr could do and sent home to die.
These Banjara’s began to fast and pray in this simple concrete block church on edge of rice fields. They are learning the power of God!!! After 7 days fasting and prayer, this woman and all testify that 32 demons came out and she is there now with a huge smile and such peace one week later!!! Took baptism!!
A 17 year old girl named Pavathi, hindu goddess name, stepped up. She is a student, but has terrible dreams and evil spirit. She has been raised muslim and her parents are just now come to Christ and Mom has taken baptism and father is preparing!!!
\We had her pray the prayer of salvation and then with as much strength as she could muster, commanded the evil spirit to leave. The spirit would try to choke her to keep here from speaking… She began to flail her arms and was trown down and the demon began to shout out of her, “I am muslim, you can not make me leave her, I am too powerful…” Over and over it kept speaking this.
Then the spirit of her uncle (faters brother) began to speak thru her. This uncle had learned black magic and spoken curses on her as this family has come to Christ. TYhe black magic was put on all her bangles, nose ring etc.
We clapped, sang and shouted to the Lord and that demon tore her! “I won’y come out” it screamed”
Her father came as Spiritual head of the home over his daughter, 17. We had him lay hands and annoint with oil and command the demon to leave as the family no longer served and other god, but Jesus!!
The girl came at the end and her name was changed to Blessing and as she knelt in her right mind, we sealed her under the blood and blessing iof the Lord!!
Much work to do in this village, but when people are being set free and God is working, people come and many many are coming. Many new last night as we worship and pray and see God work–some electricity, but much in darkness of no light. BUT THE LGHT IS COMING!!!
Lord help us in discernment and especvially at home we need tiscernment as so many are in deception!!
Today was a bit more tedious. This is the last of 9 days of Bakkamma Festival in hinduism. They worship the female goddess with dancing, flowers, and all walk in parade with the flowers by candlelight and throw all into villagewater supply for fertility and blessing! That was last night, then today so many drink and especially men laying all over in the roads… We have to be careful which homes to go!
Went to Ilapuram Village to dedicate the only village well, drilled by Homestyle Asst. Living Home in Springdale, AR.
When drilled, villagers related the drilling company came about midnight to drill and dust was a cloud everywhere. The hindu priest and village leaders came and said not to drill as there was no water here. The 30 believers were in the small Prayer Shed fervently praying. It went to 100′ deep and no water. “We were all crying out to the Lord and village saying to stop drilling.” When hit 120′, it hit a water that gushed 40 yards and all were in amazement and all villagers shared it was the power of their God!!
The closest neighbor who is hindu and never gone to church, but had accident 10 days ago and got steel rod in his foot, related all thgis to me as his heart was now open to hear the Gospel. He has buffalo and oxen and wants Eternal Life, now has heard how to recieve—because a well gushed water on his land when he thought it impossible!!!
The first believer in the village is Lalithamma, 22 years. She has led 50 families to Christ now. She led us to her nephew, Bicksham-”Beggar”-laying on a cot in front of tiny hut at noon after drinking the night in festival to the demons. He was alert and sat and listened to the Gospel. He was finally persuaded and prayed the prayer of salvation!!!
Dedicated athe church in BB Gudem given by New River AG in AZ.
Dedicated Raynegudem given By San Jacinto in Amarillo-also a nice strong church…
Went to Snake Village–Pamalapadu–where pastor Emmanuel and wife and 3 sons do a good work. They need a well as they only get water every 4 days for 15 minutes as there is a severe shortage at the small tank for the village and no wells.
She shared of the challenges and shared they were praying for faith that God would prompt my heart to help and drill a well.
We were sitting under a covering in the rain and dark as electric was off from the rain. They shared when Dr. Mast and I last visited their home 6 years ago it also rained. “Visit more often and water won’t be a problem , they shared”.
I thought to have some lighter fun, and shared that as Gideon wanted something from God, he put a fleece before God to build his faith. I shared, “Let’s put a fleece before God about drilling this well since you are praying for faith…. If electric comes on in next 10 minutes, by 730 we will know…”
I appeared serious, but already knew we would drill.
At 728 the electric came on and they all jumped up shouting with joy and laughing and praising God!!
I was careful to make clear setting a fleece is not normally Gods way and He prefers we trust him and not try to force him with our way…
But it was a night of joy and fun!!
Berryville Christian Fellowship “Wellie” is now given!!
Its early morning here in the village of Ishkababavgudem. Roiosters are sounding the morning call and village is beginning to stir. It is cool and had good night rest!!!!
Yesterday we had 5 villages, 5 Prayer sheds given for and 5 baptisms!! A really enjoyable day!!
Early, we sat in village of Bottlapaleru and over 100 people sitting under big canopy of trees in front of us! No church in this village, but beside us was a ruined heap of an old house that is given for a church. Pastor is blind, but here 3 years and working hard and teaching!! People’s hearts are open and all eagerly want a salvation bracelet and run to get other friends to come!!
We share and all listen and almost all sincerely pray the Salvation prayer! All are in agreement to begin to give to God‘s house and this week all will begin work on the ruined heap–to build a Prayer Shed. We gave to help!
As we are sharing, at the back of the large group, 2 houses down, 2 neighbors begin to shout and scream about their field. Several people got involved as this man and next door neighbor woman fought… Finally, we began to sing and clap and the shouts of praise drowned out the fight and people got focused on the Lord! It was joy!! 5 people stepped up for baptism and the church has grown much here today!! They took baptism in a concrete water trough that they could sit in and bend over forward for submersion… PTL powerful witness to many!!
Went to Pallekedu to dedicate a small church by pastor Samuel. When we arrived, the small church is built, but has a garden around it, cook fire in front and clothes on the line. The pastorsfamily had moved in the church to live. This hurt so much and is one of most disappointing encounters in many years!! Pastor was not there and his wife was in confusion…
Next to the church was a mission field. At least 20 families living in cardboard, plastic huts live for over a year. We crutched over and sat in front of a smasll hut where Laxmi let me sit on her cot. Children and chickens around, sun shining down, many people gatherted around this hut where Laxmi makes a living selling plastic containers–all in a mesh bag.
We share Christ and many people with joy and so in need of hope, respond!!
It was such a joy and relief to find something so good even in the disappointment … I’m trying to imagine Samuels challenge. Forced out of hindu rented house and moves into the church and now is not a church…what would I do? Lord give wisdom!!
At Ellapuram Village, we go to dedicate a simple prayer shed that has turned out awesome. The people are being taught and are giving. All 30 members carried
blocks and built the church. As we got there, they were plastering the outside and inside was done!! ALL PAY TITHE AND GIVE!! It was joy to give more for steps and paint. Rare to give more after they are already in the church, but these are givers and suych a blessing to step up beside them!
As we are preparing for dedication, the drums and musical instruments begin to sound all in the village. This is festival to Mysamma, “My Mother” goddess. hindus all bring huge flowers and women all wearing best saree get in big circle and dance and sing love songs to “My Mother” goddess. Men all stand back and watch…
As Melody and I start across village road, the dance is going on a hundred yards up the road. Suddenly, sound of pounding hooves fill the air. Some buffalo have broken loose near the dance, frightened by something–demon spirit… They are pounding right toward us. People lung toward us and Melody runs one way and I crutch the other and those wide eyed buffalo’s go tearing by!!!
To see so many villages and all the parades after dark as people walk by candle light–many many people–with huge mounds of flowers on the head….to throw in village water supply as a gift for fertility and blessing….
Today, many will be drunk as we go to the villages…God guide us!!
The sounds of a village…but the greatest is the praise that goes to the Living God as they know they have Eternal Life and have joy in the heart!!
Thanks so much for praying and the encouragement! Sorry we have so limited reception and email is tough…
