It definitely seems that he pro-life cause has lost the battle on the federal level, but is picking up steam on the state level. In some ways this is good news, as the battle can only be won by changing hearts and minds, and this occurs on the local level first. Then again, what good is it to pass local laws if the federal government and the courts can override them?

Good point John and I wish I had a answer but I think we will just have to do our share and leave it up to God! God bless you my friend!

It does seem like we’re fighting a losing battle sometimes, but we’ll take whatever victories we can get at this point. I had a discussion with an in-law the other day, who said Sarah Palin is extreme. When I asked in what way, her only answer was that Sarah wanted to make abortion illegal. I said “wanting to save the lives of unborn babies is extreme???” She promptly said we would never agree and tried to change the subject. Amazing…

It brings some hope to know that there is progress on state front at least, I guess you know you are accomplishing something when the other side goes to extreme to get their way. God bless you RH!
