3 This second epistle, beloved, I now write unto you; in both which I stir up your pure minds by way of remembrance:
2 That ye may be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us the apostles of the Lord and Saviour:
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.
15 And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;
16 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are some things hard to be understood, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, unto their own destruction.
17 Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness.
18 But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.

Two pro-abortion activists attacked the office of the pro-life group Operation Rescue and destroyed a security camera at the organization’s central Kansas headquarters.
Troy Newman, the head of the pro-life group, informed LifeNews of what happened.
He said: “My heart sunk – no, stopped – when the Wichita Police investigator asked me: “Mr. Newman, do you have any enemies? Anyone who really doesn’t like you and wants to hurt you? You know the answer to that question”
“They asked me because they were called to our office to investigate WHY someone had gone to all the trouble to DISABLE our surveillance/security camera system… and then leave,” he said. “One of the veteran officers told me that, in all his years on the force, he had never seen anyone do that. Leading pro-life organizations are continuing efforts to get pro-life people to lobby members of the Senate against ending the filibuster.
They are worried about a move by pro-abortion Democrats in the Senate to kill the filibuster. If Harry Reid and his colleagues are successful, it would pave the way for President Barack Obama’s abortion agenda.
Today, the pro-life Susan B. Anthony List sent out a legislative alert to its members.
“Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is threatening to change the rules of the U.S. Senate in order to make it easier to pass his agenda, including radical pro-abortion policies,” it said.

Questioning Belief and Actions
Is there a difference between questioning whether a person has the characteristics of a Christian, and judging a person’s faith? Should we hold those in leadership to a higher standard if they profess to be Christians? Is the standard higher for a Church leader than it is for a leader in politics? Does a leader in politics who claims to believe in and follow Christ, have a responsibility to hold to the standards that Christ gave for all Christians?
What is the responsibility of those who follow Christ in regards to the behavior of others who profess to do the same? Do we have a responsibility to warn those who are our fellows believers, when they are doing something that goes against the instructions that Jesus left us? If we see someone of faith deliberately committing sin and encouraging those that follow them to do the same, do we have a responsibility to warn them they are on the wrong path? Can we continue to support them in a leadership position? What if that leadership position is political, does that make a difference?
When does judge not lest you be judged change to having their blood upon our hands?
