In 2006, a Kansas man named Robert Estrada was convicted of systematically raping his two step-daughters, starting when they were 11 and 12 years old. The older girl soon became pregnant, and Estrada took her to a Wichita abortion clinic where she received an abortion. Even though she was significantly below the age of statutory rape in Kansas, no report was filed with the state.
