Evil (warning this post is linked to a post that is fairly explicit) Please no one under eighteen!
Most of us live our lives in relative ignorance and never come face to face with true evil, but it exists whether we face it or not. rmott is a woman who has faced it for a good portion of her life. It is not something that I usually publish, but it is something that I feel needs to have more light shed on it. Our denying it’s existence does not cause it to go away, we are just turning blind eyes to it. Our desire not to see, only makes it more possible for it to thrive. It could be our children or grandchildren who face this and if we lose touch and pretend it isn’t there, all we do is enable the evil ones who do this, to take advantage of more and more people.
When I was a child and suffering abuse, no one wanted to know! That attitude simply let my abuser to continue and made me feel that I was at fault. It is only through God that I was able to overcome. If we as followers of Christ close our eyes to this and other abuses, we are telling these people and God Himself that our love is limited. And if we do that we are not going to be welcome in God’s world. Jesus will hear us knocking and simply say, I never knew you. God bless you all, and please pray for all those who suffer through this, as well as the other horrors that exist in this world. When you see someone in need, remember that they are a child of God.
Please do take time to read rmott’s entire post and the rest of her story in her other posts.
Trafficking and Me
I have thrown backward by the ignorance about internal trafficking, and in this post I thought I would my personal views and experiences, and hope that they connect with the general realities of internal trafficking.
It must be known that internal trafficking is one of the common method to get women and girls trapped in all aspects of the sex trade.
It be known the main focus of those who profit from internal trafficking is trapped young teenage girls or too often pre-teens girls.
It must be known that there is a vast market for young girls in all aspects of the sex trade.
It must be known that there many myths that a prostitution whatever her age has chosen her lifestyle and therefore she can never ever be abused, let alone raped, tortured and mentally abuse.
It is in that context that I write of my personal experiences of internal trafficking – which for most of my life had no language to explain it, or framework to show my pain and confusion to the world.
Internal trafficking is common is every country where the sex trade thrives – but it is made invisible, and most women and girls inside that hell have little or no language to describe their realities.

A scientist responds to 'Fetal Flaw'
Reblogged from The Works of God:
Bob Horning is not just the father of Krista Horning and a member at Bethlehem Baptist Church, he also holds a Ph.D. in physics and works as a scientist for Honeywell in Minnesota. I asked him to take a look at an article in Slate.com, which argued that new technologies are a problem for those of us who hold to the view of unborn life being precious.
Justified by Faith
Peace with God
Therefore having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,
through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.
Joy in Tribulation
And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, know that tribulation produces perseverance;
and perseverance, character; and character, hope.
Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.
For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Salvation from God’s Wrath
Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be save from wrath through Him.
For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.
And not only that, but we also rejoice in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation.
Contrast of Righteousness and Condemnation
Therefore, just as through on man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned—-
(For until the law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over those who had not sinned according to the likeness of the transgression of Adam, who is a type of Him who was to come.
But the free gift is not like the offense. For if by the one man’s offense many died, much more the grace of God and the gift by the grace of one Man, Jesus Christ, abounded to many.
And the gift is not like that which come through the one who sinned. For the judgement which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses rusulted in justification.
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.)
Therefore, as through one man’s offence judgment came to all men, resulting in condemnation, even so through on Man’s righteous act the free gift came to all men, resulting in justification of life.
For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man’s obedience many will be made righteous.
Moreover the law entered that the offense might abound. But where sin abounded, grace abounded much more,
so that as sin reigned in death, even so grace might reign through righteousness to eternal life thorough Jesus Christ our Lord.
How amazing it is to know that no matter how great our sins, if we accept Jesus into our lives and proclaim him our Savior, that our sins will be washed away and we will appear before God washed clean. By His giving of His blood we have a future, where otherwise we would have been condemned. Not by anything we do other than having faith and be willing to ask for forgiveness and accept God’s grace.
And yet how sad that there are so many who still refuse to see, and are not willing to give up that control. And how sad it is that there are so many that, like Satan himself, wish to control those around them. Whether they do so in ignorance or willful disobedience, it does not matter. The end results are the same, and the loss in forever.
I pray for those that are in leadership positions, whether from the very top to the parent of a child. Please understand that one day you will stand in judgement before God. What you do will be judged by Him, but if you do not accept Him into your life and ask Him for forgiveness, He will not see you. No matter how good you think that you are, no matter how worthy your goals, if they do not include Him, they will be forever forgotten and you will face eternity damned for your lack of action.
When Nebuchadnezzar was restored he said
“And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever:
For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
And His kingdom is from generation to generation.
All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing;
He does according to His will in the army of heaven
And among the inhabitants of the earth.
No one can restrain His hand or say to Him “What have You done?”

Shark
Reblogged from partneringwitheagles:
There is this atheist swimming in the ocean. All of the sudden he sees this shark in the water, so he starts swimming towards his boat.
As he looks back he sees the shark turn and head towards him. His boat is a ways off and he starts swimming like crazy. He's scared to death, and as he turns to see the jaws of the great white beast open revealing its teeth in a horrific splendor, the atheist screams, "Oh God!
Abortion provides no dignity to the pre-born
Reblogged from Sifting Reality:
(Daily Mail) -- Nebraska’s new abortion law forced one woman to give birth to her terminally ill, premature baby who she then helplessly held dying in her arms.
[...]
With this heartbreaking information the couple decided to have an abortion to avoid the baby going through any pain.
However a new law in Nebraska, the only one of its kind in America, bars abortion at 20 weeks except in specific situations when the mother’s life is in immediate danger.

Thought for the Day of Atonement
Leviticus 23:27-29
King James Version (KJV)
27 Also on the tenth day of this seventh month there shall be a day of atonement: it shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall afflict your souls, and offer an offering made by fire unto the Lord.
28 And ye shall do no work in that same day: for it is a day of atonement, to make an atonement for you before the Lord your God.
29 For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people.
Leviticus 23:27-29
Complete Jewish Bible (CJB)
27 “The tenth day of this seventh month is Yom-Kippur; you are to have a holy convocation, you are to deny yourselves, and you are to bring an offering made by fire to Adonai. 28 You are not to do any kind of work on that day, because it is Yom-Kippur, to make atonement for you before Adonai your God. 29 Anyone who does not deny himself on that day is to be cut off from his people

Is It A Sin To Support A Pro-Abortion Candidate?
Reblogged from The Tree of Mamre:
Note that I am not a Catholic, but this post on Biltrix really struck a chord with me. A Catholic believer asked if it was a mortal sin to support a candidate who was pro-abortion. The point about it being a mortal sin tripped up the priest. However, for the reasons below, he was clear that it was wrong:
