“Those persons who know the deep peace of God, the unfathomable peace that passeth all understanding, are always men and women of much prayer.”~ R. A. Torrey
Our Church is in Revival this week and our guest Pastor, Dr. Ron Smith, gave us a message on Monday that has really been lingering and pushing at me. The message was a simple one, that is that God is a motion sensitive God. That when we make a movement toward Him, that He responds.
Prayer is a movement, a request and plea for the intercession of the Holy Spirit, of Jesus and of God Himself. It can be a movement of praise, of need, of thankfulness, but it is always a movement on our part. It is the most important movement that we will ever do.
It is the movement that God seeks to know that we want to know Him. It is the movement that shows that we accept Him. And it is the movement that shows that we love and appreciate Him. That we understand the sacrifice that He gave when He gave His Son.
Prayer is Joy, prayer is Fear, prayer is Thanksgiving, prayer is Regret, prayer is quite simply the culmination of everything.
Ephesians 6:18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints,
1 Corinthians 14:15 What am I to do? I will pray with my spirit, but I will pray with my mind also; I will sing praise with my spirit, but I will sing with my mind also.
Matthew 7:7 ”Ask, and it will be given to you seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
Matthew 21:22 And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.”
Mark 11:24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.
John 14:13-14 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it
King James Version (KJV)
Psalm 100
1Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands.
2Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
3Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endureth to all generations.

Thank you my friend! God bless you today!
It means ttrusing him when I don’t feel like ttrusing at all. Looking back at so many disasters, looking around seeing nothing, and looking ahead and seeing even less. Hoping when there is no hope
Trust in Him and God bless!
We are OUTRAGED by one priest’s dress code that prevents us from celebrating Mass. Please visit and lend your support at my blog. Thank you.
If I had in any way offended you with this comment/post, please delete with my sincere apologies. Thank you, Eric
My friend, I understand your outrage and if it was my church, I would simply find another church to attend. But then I am not Catholic. My best friend is and your good lady’s attire is not so much different than what she wears. I am not familiar with your Church’s policy nor their way of dealing with conflict, but I would personally find it very offensive to do it so publicly with people not in any involved with the disagreement. I read your profile, so I know that your are intelligent and I have to wonder if you are genuinely outrage and reacting badly or is you are trying to incite a confrontation. I appreciate your taking time to read my post and I appreciate your taking time to like it. However, I think that this is the wrong forum for such personal disagreements. If this is your problem, not anything else in the Church, is your intent to serve God or yourself?
Awesome and inspiring message. Thanks for sharing.
God bless you and thank you!
